About the 2026 PA Integrated Water Report
Prepared by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the 2026 Integrated Water Report is the seventeenth in a biennial series developed to meet Federal Clean Water Act (CWA) requirements under Sections 303(d) and 305(b). It includes the identification of impaired waters that require total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) and the assessment of overall aquatic resource conditions across the Commonwealth.
The report provides an overview of the condition of Pennsylvania’s waters and highlights the programs, strategies, and actions used to protect and improve water quality statewide. Its interactive format is designed to present extensive information in a clear, accessible, and user-friendly manner.
