Allegheny Cleanways:
Allegheny Cleanways engages and empowers people to eliminate illegal dumping and littering in Allegheny County.
Allegheny County:
The Allegheny County Health Department’s Water Pollution Control Division inspects all sewage treatment plants, plus sewage collection and conveyance systems in Allegheny County.

Allegheny County Sanitary Authority:
ALCOSAN is the clean water agency for most of Allegheny County, serving nearly a million people in 83 municipalities. Every day, the agency recycles up to 250 million gallons of wastewater, stormwater and groundwater, returning the water to the Ohio river. The agency is currently engaged in upgrading and expanding its ability to prevent stormwater from pushing sewage into the rivers during heavy rainfall and snowmelt through a $2 billion Clean Water Plan.
Allegheny Land Trust
Allegheny Land Trust is a land conservation nonprofit helping local people save local land in the Pittsburgh region since 1993. ALT conserves and cares for local lands and provides all-ages environmental education to support the health and well-being of current and future generations.
Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania
ASWP connects the people of southwestern Pennsylvania to birds and nature through our programs, projects, and places.
Chesapeake Stormwater Network
The Network helps align and integrate the efforts of those working on stormwater management across the Chesapeake Bay region and around the world. It provides technical resources, free training opportunities, statewide regulatory updates and Chesapeake Bay Program stormwater alerts.
Conemaugh Valley Conservancy:
The Conemaugh Valley Conservancy protects and restores the health and beauty of the Kiski-Conemaugh River Valley and strengthens the connection between the land and its people.

CONNECT: Congress of Neighboring Communities
CONNECT works with ~45 municipalities including and surrounding Pittsburgh, serving as a local government policy and program innovator and incubator, and providing the resources, research and relationship building needed to scale solutions across municipalities.
Department of Environmental Protection:
DEP's Office of Water Programs administers and oversees departmental programs involving surface and groundwater quantity and quality planning, soil and water conservation, as well as coordinating policies, procedures, and regulations which influence public water supply withdrawals and quality, sewage facilities planning, point source municipal and industrial discharges, encroachments upon waterways and wetlands, dam safety, earth disturbance activities and control of storm water and non-point source pollution.
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful
Keep PA Beautiful is a statewide non-profit that empowers Pennsylvanians to keep our communities clean and beautiful. One of the many programs the organization offers is the Waterway Steward Program to engage water trail users, outdoor and waterway enthusiasts, anglers and all who are concerned about the health and safety of our waterways, in community science and build long term stewardship of our water trails, while providing valuable data to tell the story about litter in our waterways.
The Mon Water Project
The Mon Water Project (MWP) and its Coalition will conserve, restore, enjoy, and protect Four Mile Run and the City of Pittsburgh tributary waters to the Monongahela River.
Mountain Watershed Association
The Mountian Watershed Association protects, preserves and restores the Youghiogheny River watershed and its broader communities through conservation, recreation, education, and advocacy.

PWSA is the largest combined water, sewer and stormwater authority in Pennsylvania, serving more than 500,000 customers throughout the City of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Protect PT (Penn-Trafford) protects residents' safety, security, and quality of life by engaging in education and advocacy to protect the economic, environmental, and legal rights of the people in Westmoreland and Allegheny counties.
RiverWise
RiverWise organizes community voice and power so that residents can reclaim agency over the future of communities along the rivers of Beaver County, PA.
Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission – Water Resource Center
The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission is the regional planning agency serving the 10-county region of southwestern Pennsylvania. As the official Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Local Development District (LDD), and Economic Development District (EDD), SPC directs the use of state and federal transportation and economic development funds allocated to the region—approximately $35 billion through 2045. The Water Resource Center (WRC) is dedicated facilitating regional coordination, education, and providing direct technical assistance to its member governments. WRC provides support to federal, state, regional, and local government and non-profit partners organizations on various water resource management initiatives.
SWPA Municipal Project Hub
The Project Hub helps local government officials across Southwestern Pennsylvania access historic federal infrastructure & clean energy funding by connecting them, at no cost, with the resources, hands-on technical assistance, and other support they need to conceptualize, fund, and implement high-impact community development projects.
Three Rivers Quest
The 3RQ project monitors rivers, tributaries and headwater streams that drain an area of over 25,000 square miles in five states by bringing together academic researchers, citizen scientists, and conservation groups to collect, analyze, and monitor important water quality data.
Three Rivers Waterkeeper:
Three Rivers Waterkeeper protects the quality and health of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers and their respective tributaries and watersheds in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Upstream Pittsburgh:
UpstreamPgh restores and protects the Nine Mile Run watershed ecosystem, while working regionally to support and implement resilient solutions for a healthier urban environment.
Washington County Watershed Alliance:
The WCWA provides a collaborative framework to support the efforts of all local watershed associations; encourage responsible utilization of air, land, and water resources; support sound agricultural activities, encourage sustainable land use and the protection and preservation of agricultural lands; and promote the protection, preservation and enhancement of the county’s natural resources, biodiversity and ecological health for the benefit of current and future generations.
