WV Rivers is hiring water ambassadors

WV Rivers is hiring water ambassadors to engage communities around PFAS concerns.

The West Virginia Rivers Coalition is seeking Community Ambassadors to spearhead educating communities about the presence of PFAS in drinking water supplies.

The Ambassadors will engage local residents in conversations about the presence of PFAS in West Virginia’s drinking water supplies and to ensure community priorities are at the heart of Action Plans to identify and address the sources.

The short-term contractors will serve as Community Ambassadors in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, including the communities of Benwood, Chester, Follansbee, Glen Dale, Weirton.
