Mark you calendars for Saturday, September 28. Planning for the next basin-wide Confluence networking opportunity has begun. Thank you to all that attended the summer Confluence and provided comments and ideas. The Planning Work Group will use these suggestions to design the program for the fall Confluence and future basin-wide networking events.
The September Confluence will be fully outdoors under a Pavilion at Mingo Creek Park in Washington County. Details and activity descriptions will be forthcoming, but anticipate a mid-day event with family friendly activities.
This event will highlight the benefits and needs of watershed organizations across the Upper Ohio River Basin.
Watershed organizations depend and survive on volunteers with a wide variety of backgrounds who share a common interest in improving and protecting the health of their watershed. This is an opportunity to network with and learn from Upper Ohio River Basin watershed colleagues that share a passion for our water resources.
