Revive Your Passion for Clean Water: Join the Fall 2025 Confluence!

If you believe healthy waters begin with vibrant ecosystems, then the Fall 2025 Confluence is your kind of gathering. On Saturday, September 27, from 10 AM to 4 PM, we’re heading into the woods—literally—at the Laurelville Retreat Center in Westmoreland County.

You’ll be on the trails, exploring the plants, insects, birds, and even amphibians that help keep our waters clean. We’ll be using the iNaturalist app to document biodiversity as we go, uncovering how each species contributes to overall environmental health. Because when ecosystems decline, our water quality suffers.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Trail-Based Field Learning: Discover how biodiversity relates directly to water quality.
  • Citizen Science in Action: Use iNaturalist to log real-time observations of local species.
  • Boatload of Knowledge Showcase: Learn from partner organizations and share watershed resources.
  • Hands-On Engagement: Come away with practical stewardship skills you can share in your communities.
  • Make Sure to Download the https://www.inaturalist.org/ App Before Arriving

You’re invited to set up a table at our showcase to highlight your organization’s projects, efforts, and water-saving innovations.

This event isn’t your typical meeting—it’s learning on the move, in nature, with people who care deeply about protecting our watersheds. Keep checking in; full registration and agenda details are coming soon. We hope to see you out on the trail!
