New Report and Discussion about the risks of ‘forever chemicals’ and waste disposal from oil & gas wells in Pennsylvania – Thu. 10/26, 630 pm

PSR Physicians for Social Responsibility is putting out a new report titled “Fracking with ‘Forever Chemicals’ in Pennsylvania.” The report outlines the risks associated with PFAS pollution from Pennsylvania’s oil and gas wells, including from the disposal of millions of tons of liquid and solid waste associated with the wells.

This Thursday (10/26 @6:30 ET) ProtectPT, PSR (Physicians for Social Responsibility), FracTracker Alliance, Environmental Health Project, and Halt the Harm Network are hosting a live discussion with the report’s author, Dusty Horwitt, and activists and experts to talk about the report’s findings and the health and environmental impacts of PFAS pollution on frontline communities.
