Free Trees This Fall: Request Forms Are Open

The tree request form is live, and there is a volunteer guide to go with it. If you have been thinking about getting trees into the ground around your community, this is the place to start.

The deadline for fall distributions is July 15. The form stays open after that date, so requests for later planting seasons are welcome too.

The form is built for people, groups, and organizations who want to become tree distribution partners. If you can picture yourself helping get trees to your neighbors, go ahead and submit a request. The volunteer guide adds some clarity, including what it looks like to host a larger distribution event.

There is also funding for community tree projects. That covers a wide range of tree-related work, so let it spark a few ideas.

Questions, comments, or feedback are all welcome. Someone can even walk through the form with you if that would help.

Across the Upper Ohio River Basin, trees and clean water tend to go together. Getting more of them planted is good work, and it takes a network to do it.
