The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Region 3 is currently reviewing a draft permit for G2 STEM LLC to construct and operate a Class II-D commercial disposal injection well in Nicholson Township, Fayette County. Injection wells allow a company to inject oil and gas wastewater thousands of feet into the ground. A virtual public hearing is scheduled for Tue. July 11 at 6 pm.
