The Spring 2025 Confluence, hosted at Westminster College on June 6, 2025, is fast approaching, and it’s time to get excited about a gathering that will bring together some of the brightest minds in water conservation, restoration, and environmental protection. This year, we are thrilled to welcome professionals, academics, local community leaders, and passionate advocates of clean water to engage in meaningful discussions that can inspire action and create a lasting impact.
What’s the Confluence All About?
This semi-annual event is more than just a chance to sit and listen—it’s about collaboration, exchange, and solutions. The Confluence brings together experts from a variety of sectors, from academia and government to local watershed organizations and conservation groups. The day is all about highlighting the power of community in addressing some of the most pressing water challenges of our time, with the Hall of Knowledge at the center of the event.
Why You Should Be There
Whether you are involved in watershed restoration, stormwater management, electrofishing, stream assessments, or any aspect of water resource management, this is the place to be. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar goals, share ideas, and learn from experts. With sessions focusing on riparian buffers, acid mine drainage (AMD), electrofishing, and stream and wetlands restoration, there’s something for everyone.
But that’s not all. This year, the event will also focus on partnerships, specifically one with the Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition, to bring even more expertise to the table.delete

And more experts committed to building a sustainable and healthier environment for everyone.
