Every creek in our network eventually becomes somebody else’s river. For the headwaters that drain toward Pittsburgh, that somebody is Three Rivers Waterkeeper, the group that patrols and defends the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio. On October 16th they are throwing their biggest party of the year, and the money raised goes straight back into keeping those waters clean.

What the evening includes
This is a full night out, not a rubber-chicken banquet. A ticket covers dinner and the run of the room:
- Catered dinner from Mission BBQ and Treats.
- Open bar for guests 21 and over, plus soft drinks.
- A commemorative glass to take home.
- A silent auction, entertainment, and music.
- Entry into a door prize.
Where the money goes
Proceeds from the night do two things. They help Three Rivers Waterkeeper hold polluters accountable, the legal and monitoring work that keeps discharges and spills from going unanswered, and they fund free educational programming that brings clean-water science to the wider community. Both are the kind of work that protects everything upstream of Pittsburgh, which is to say our own watersheds.
