During a work session this month, Rostraver Township commissioners announced the six winners of their annual Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) poster contest.
According to Township Planner Tamira Spedaliere, Rostraver Township staff visited Marion and Rostraver elementary schools in December and January to give presentations on water pollution. They invited the students to submit a poster on ways they can reduce pollution.
Spedaliere said Rostraver Township received eight poster entries. Commissioners hosted a pizza party for all participants and presented awards and gift certificates to the winners.
