Participate in 3/17/25 meeting to build consensus on regional stormwater training needs

Hello all, some of you may have gotten this already, but if not – FYI! This event will be hybrid. Zoom link will be distributed closer to the date. Sharing this out for the Pitt team.

The IRISE Consortium and the Water Collaboratory at the University of Pittsburgh will host a consensus-building meeting to prioritize training needs on stormwater issues. This meeting will occur on March 17, 2025 from 2-4p (this will be a hybrid meeting). This guidance will be used to develop a series of lunch and learn training s to be held over the course of this summer, as well as inform a symposium late in 2025.
We invite stormwater professionals (broadly) to participate .  We encourage those receiving it to please share with other stormwater professionals. We are particularly interested in the intersection of transportation and stormwater infrastructure and cross-jurisdictional
collaboration to improve management of these systems. Planners, key public works and municipal staff, engineers, service providers and community organizations are all
welcome.
During the two-hour meeting we will be designing and refining training plans for this summer.  We fully expect more good ideas than we can sponsor this summer, so these plans will also be
compiled into a simple document and shared with participants.

We hope you will join us.
